Katie had a life long history of working with plants before enrolling in Rosemary Gladstar's The Science and Art of Herbalism certification program. She developed a personal connection to plants that was unforeseen and decided to pursue clinical training. Herbalists that have influenced her over the years include Rocio Alarcon, David Hoffman, Sajah Popham, David Winston, Maria Noel Groves, Thomas Easley, Tammi Sweet, Phyllis D. Light, Michael Tierra, and Juliet Blankenspoor to name a few. She has also received certification in Organic Skincare Formulation from the UK-based Formula Botanica. She resides in Bucks County with Tom, her partner in business and in life.
